alias
A design token that can reference or take on the value of another token

component
Reusable elements and styles used to build interfaces. They help create and maintain design consistency across products and projects.

design kit
A collection of libraries contextualized to a particular implementation. Our design kits are based on products.

library
A design file that contains important UI components, fonts, layered design files, and documentation.

pattern
A standard reference point for how components work together

token
A coded name that stores a piece of information (color, sizing, spacing, font, etc.). Tokens help manage design properties and values across the design system by providing centralized control for designers and developers to make changes.

variable

core
Core solutions consist of Jack Henry’s data processing products: SilverLake System, CIF 20/20, Core Director, Episys, and CruiseNet.

PowerOn®
PowerOn is a unique tool that enables financial institutions to customize and streamline the input and processing of data from external sources, develop interfaces to other systems and integrate data from multiple sources. Internally, PowerOn can be used to create custom reports, forms, and other correspondence not offered through the cores.

third-party vendor
A third-party vendor is a non Jack Henry owned company that works directly with a customer.

workflow
Workflows are an automated process in software applications. They carry out a series of operations, events, or tasks.

Xperience™
Many of Jack Henry’s products were developed or acquired at different times, giving each a different look and feel. Xperience is a new interface that enables all core solutions and products to have a similar look and navigation. This interface also presents more meaningful information to bank employees and enables them to customize screens to show data that is most useful to them. Xperience is not a product but an application framework.
